 Launched in 2006 Black Orchid, by Tom Ford, is an Amber Floral Fragrance for women created by Givaudan. Black Orchid opens with notes of Truffles, Gardenia, Black Currant, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Bergamot, Mandarin Orange and Amalfi Lemon. The middle notes are Fruity notes, Gardenia, Jasmine, Lotus, Orchid, Spices and Ylang-Ylang. At the bae are notes of Amber, Incense, Mexican Chocolate, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vanille, Vetiver and White Musk. This is a deep, dark, complex fragrance, giving off multiple vibes all at the same time, often contradictory ones, being comforting yet mysterious, sweet yet dark.
